‘Candid’ Photo Montage

One of the final scenes of Candid involves a life size black and white montage of the lead actress, Lesley. This had to be placed in front of the scenery behind her, overlapping the actual objects in the photographs, mixing colour with black and white.

I shot everything one to one and after a few mathematical and printing headaches, everything came together and the crew was happy. Phew…

I’ve been involved with Nicholas Paton’s latest short film ‘Candid’ over the last week. It’s been tiring, but great fun and I met some really nice people as well. Great crew, happy times and I now know what the gaffer, spark and grip do.
