This was really tasty

My last night in Italy was spent sampling Morotto’s food and the Prosecco produced on his vineyard, followed by some of his girlfriend Cristina’s homemade Grappa. Of the 18 different varieties she had brewed, we tried the rose petal and cinnamon, both of which were very smooth and flavoursome. She described how she had to collect a massive amount of petals in order to get the taste she was after. Reminded me somewhat of the book ‘Perfume’…

As usual, the Italian hospitality was amazing.
