Mohamed was interviewed about his reasons for entering HK for about 40 minutes, after which we assumed he would be detained for up to 3 months. But what seems due to the strength of his case, or possibly sweet talking skills, he managed to walk free out of the building, with papers stating his refugee status. Needless to say, he wasn’t too vocal about it back at the Chungking shelter after seeing how unhappy one of his room mates were with his good news!
