Causeway Bay, a place for crazy rental prices





Pedestrians cross a road in Hong Kong’s retail heart of Causeway Bay. A tiny electronic appliance store in the area, measuring just 130 square feet (12 square metres) sold for more than 23 million USD according to a report earlier this year. The southern Chinese territory was ranked the most expensive for retailers in the world by commercial real estate giant CBRE, as prime rents surpassed those of the most exclusive addresses in New York, London and Paris.
